Reidy's Bottle Of Grecian

The Unobstructed View
Anyone got either of these ? or your kids, vife etc ?

looking at the ace for my daughter a seems a good deal byt if anyone has 1 they may so it is shoite.

anyone that turns this into a techfestr or mentions apple will be roundly negged by myself and lots of users with idle accounts that haven't changed their password.

If there are good deals available try and get the samsung galaxy sII, meant to be far superior. not sure about the price differences though

masssive diff.

It's for her 12th b'day, they are offering me a 12month contract for the ace for £10.50 £11.50 the wildfire. So next year she can get another as opposed to me paying for this present for 2 years.

when you do review thing were they do a versus test, they were done 6 months ago when based on price the wildfire was deemed better, but the Ace seems deffo the better with the price switch, and it's a newer android version (~gingerbread) either she will be happy with tbh, but someone may say "had one, loads of probs, now a paperweight).

My mates got a wildfire (not sure of the difference between regular and s), he seems pretty happy with it, hasn't complained much about it either.

had both , sent my wildfire back becouse its was a buggy piece of crap , swapped it for the galaxy ace and been very happy with it.the s2 is sooo much better but a bit ott in price and features for my humble needs.

The mrs has got the Ace, I've got the S2.

She can't notice much difference between the two.

I can obviously. But for general use, the Ace is a pretty nice little phone. Bargain at that price too.

Not a fan of the Wildfire, or HTC in general really.

I've got a htc hero, they both have samsung tocco lites, the samsung interface does my nut tbh and am hoping will be nothing like on the Galaxy Prime when i get it.

I've got an Ace and I like it a lot even if it isn't absolutely perfect (occasionally crashes but always reboots just fine; bit slower than the iPhone or s2 seem to be but still pretty nifty). Obviously lower spec but good value for the money you pay, I reckon. The Polo to the s2's Golf GTI.

Why can't anyone mention apple? The iPhone 3GS is now free on a contract.

There's no deal that's anywhere near it for 12 months contract, the sim only is £6 so the phone is costing less than anything I could buy.

Might look on some of those with a 'free' gift as it might get a christmas pressie out of the way as well, giving a combined price that's cheaper.
