Bluerover

Player Valuation: £60m
Fantastic display by Dubs Hurlers - rank outsiders they beat Galway, who were favourites to win the All Ireland, by 4 points although they were very comfortable.

Now in the Leinster Final against winners of Kilkenny and Wexford.

Come on you boys in Blue!!

Good result indeed, would have thought Limerick would be the team to beat ?.
My adopted county , Clare, are up against Tipperary on Sunday , won fairly handy last time out against Waterford, different kettle of fish tomorrow though.

Mrs BR is from Cahir, so I am afraid I will have to cheer for the Blue and Gold rather than the Gold and Blue.

The anchor lady on SkySpArena said after the game that Galway were favs for the title - I agree, Limerick would appear to me to be stronger.

Wexford doing ok against my adopted county of Kilkenny. I love everything about this county EXCEPT their hurling fans. An otherwise pleasant Kilkenny man or woman turns into a raving lunatic if the subject of hurling is raised - even worse to be sitting beside them at a match!! lol

Meanwhile in Ulster Monaghan coasting against Fermanagh - 10 points ahead with less than 10 minutes to go.

Monaghan win 1-21 to 0-14

Kilkenny up their game towards the end of the first half, leading by 15 points to 14 at HT

Thinkn Limerick might have something to say about that !

Fantastic result for the hurlers tbf. They had a decent league campaign as well.

Great mtch between KK and WX. WX were 3 ahead then KK came back to level and then got a goal. Then WX scored 1-1 and it is now Wexford 1-23 Kilkenny 0-23 with 8 minutes to go. The Wexford keeper, Fanning, just scored from a free inside his own 45, a distance of about 120 yards!

Theres ralk of making the sliotar heavier - its gone a bit ridiculous, danger of the game becoming a battle of free takers

Incredible end to the match....Hawkeye deciding that Wexfordhad scored a point 3 minutes into injury time, and not a goal. Sides level. Wexford Keeper has a free for last puck of injury time but falls short.

Extra time now.

Kilkenny 2-37 Wexford 2-29 FT aet.

This despite KK having their keeper sin binned (yellow card) for 10 minutes in the first half - he was back for the second half.

Limerick 2-22 Cork 1-17 Those two goals Limerick scored before half time were real sucker punches. Patrick Horgan had a rare off day, and Cork missed a penalty as well. Limerick were the better team though, and whoever knocks them out will win the all Ireland. I'd be hopeful that Cork can get a run going in the qualifiers, and sure we'll see what happens after that. But well done today @Paris
