Any London-based Blues at all worried by the threat of protests/rioting tomorrow? I'm expecting a few bust-ups here and there, but generally an overblown event hyped up by the media.

Unless anyone knows different - any closet anarchists here?!!

Me mate. I'm superb at throwing flares.

Im not there though, so you'll be sound.

I doubt there'll be a Seattle or Genoa. If this summit were held 12 months from now with another million on the dole and the economy still in deep slump it'd be a different proposition.

I think the marchers are all in bed still - most peaceful walk to work ever!

Closet anarchist here, was going to go and protest against globalisation.

Set alarm clock to get up early (clock made in Japan).

Rang work to say I'm sick and won't be in. (phone made in Japan).

Made a cup of coffee (South American).

Got dressed in best anarchist clobber (Jeans from US multinational,T-shirt and trainers made in China).

Stopped off at Tescos for some food, McD's probably not a god idea today, brought fruit (produce of South Africa).

Gave up and rang work again, told them I'm feeling better and will be in as normal.

*tries to convince self that I'm still an anarchist at heart.

:(
