G.O.T. Fantasy Premier League 25/26

Neiler

Player Valuation: £100m
Alright lids,

1) Fantasy Premier League is active again for the upcoming 25/26 season and i have renewed the GOT League.

If you've joined before, they ask you to log in as usual and update your account preferences, once you've done that you should be back into your profile, you just have to renew your leagues after you have picked your team and you should be in the G.O.T.s leagues.

If you are playing for first time and want to join the league, you have to register and pick your team here: https://fantasy.premierleague.com/

Then hit the League tab after you have picked your team, hit create and join leagues and enter the code: 9ocq77 to join.

Fill your boots and enjoy! ;)

2) We have a smaller league for regular members on here as the main league has turned into a bit of a monster as the code is public and anyone can join.

The regular member league is called The Lid League and the idea is you play against regular members you know on here, rather then the GOT league which is massive.

We dont post the code on the forum, but PM if you are a regular member on here and want to join and ill send it on.

If you've joined in previous years you dont need the code again to join - you just have to renew your leagues in the league tab.

3) We also ran the No RS league (You aren't allowed pick Liverpool players - if you do you are disqualified) - The Crystanbull League for the last couple of years - a league that if you pick any RS players you are immediately disqualified.

Ive renewed it and if anyone new who's a regular and wants to join PM me and ill send the code on.

So some changes to the game this year to be aware of apart from the naff looking new site and interface:

1) Instead of just of just one set of chips all year we now get two wild cards, two bench boost and two triple captain chips to use - one set of the three have to be used before the GW deadline, basically you get one set of all the chips for the first and second half of the season. Also of note the Assistant manager chip we had last year has been binned.

2) In what is the biggest scoring system shake-up in a long time, defensive contributions are to come into play this season.
This looks set to give a big boost to center-backs and defensive midfielders, especially. The latter have been a long-overlooked group of players and may now enter the Fantasy reckoning.

Any defender who reaches a combined total of 10 clearances, blocks, interceptions and tackles (CBIT) in a single match will score two FPL points.

Midfielders and forwards will get rewarded for ball recoveries, as well as the above. But they have to get 12 clearances, blocks, interceptions, recoveries and tackles (CBIRTs) in order to score two FPL points.

Essentially this mean no nonsense defenders, like Tarky, relegation team defenders and defensive midfielders like Cacedio can now score additional points.

3) The rules on assets are being relaxed, if an intended ball hits of a defender once before a goal is scored the assist will be awarded.

4) All players are going to be given 5 free transfers in GW 16 to deal with AFCON.

Hope you remember all that there will be a quiz later!! ;)
