So we now only have 2 senior full backs....

Who in the youth team can provide cover? and who can be shoe-horned into these positions

Holgate and Kenny can play right back

Garbutt and Robinson can play left back

Think that should be enough until the summer - decision needs to be taken at that point whether those kids are up to the task of being considered good enough to play a lot of games if we have injuries (and, hopefully a European campaign)

Garbutt is back at the club I believe. Holgate has done great at right back early in the season.

Jonjoe Kenny has looked good. Then you've got Foulds and Robinson too.

We'll be sound.

...Kenny was on the bench for the Derby and is in and around the first team squad so RK must believe he can play a part. Although right sided, I reckon he could also offer short-term cover for Baines. He came through the ranks as a centre back, is a fierce competitor and enjoys attacking aspect of the game. He plays like the game matters and did score the winning penalty for England youth at the Euros a few seasons ago.

Full back, schmull back. We play wing backs now, so if Baines or Coleman gets injured we'll play Lennon or Mirallas instead.

Antonee Robinson is in pole position for the left back spot ahead of Foulds . Another who suffered with a long term injury but has made his way back. I would imagine RK will be watching the U23s tonight , Robinson should start ahead of Foulds with probably Feeney instead of Browning.
