Nice club Fulham & a good day out.

My mate has been going since 1953! Been a season ticket holder for donkeys years. Thats dedication!

I really think this could go either way (or three ways in fact!).

If Moyes decides to prioritise the FA Cup final then Fulham should get the win, im more inclined to think that it will be a draw as that realistically will get Fulham their 7th place.

For selfish reasons i obviously want Everton to win (although unfortunately i don't think we will beat Liverpoo anyway - so its probably academic anyway).

As long as Newcastle get a point it doesn't matter to me. I've been thinking for a while that it'd be Hull, Boro and West Brom to go down but I have a feeling both Hull and Newcastle will draw. If that's the case it's the ideal end result - Newcastle help us get 5th yet go down (y)

Please let that be the case

I can see the team being

Howard
Lars yobo lescott baines

Osman Rodwell Castillo Gosling

JO Vaughan

i think that team could go their and get a win but am going for a draw 1 -1

Yeah I think I'd rather Cahill and Pienaar sit this one out. We could cope with losing anyone else, even one of the CBs but those two are essential to our FA Cup hopes. Give Saha 20-30 minutes to keep his fitness ticking over, he'd be bound to get a goal at his old club.

Damn, just been told i've got to work so i cant watch this match - or the Newcastle match :( Gutted.

Agreed on Cahill and Pienaar, if they do play just 30mins thats all. Would like to see Moyes start with Vaughan partnered with Jo or Saha.

Wont say hell start vaughny..
or risk bainesy,lescott,yobo,ossie,gosling or howars..
tink dm wil bring in baxter, wallace etc..

Apparently Wallace is getting a start this game!

I hope we rest a few/lot though. No need to risk anyone to be honest. Id take 6th and a full team for the 30th over probably not winning at Fulham anyway and losing even one key player! It's just our luck this season........

moyes was looking well hungry in that talksport interview.. can't imagine he wants anything less than 5th spot. that combined with a few fresh faces eager to impress might just get us a result at cc.

newcastle have a now or never moment and villa are crocked.. well, apart from carew.

build a wave for wembley.

Dunno why given our appalling record down there, but I fancy Moyes to pull off something of a masterstroke - rest key players, but still be able to come away with a draw or maybe even a win. They key is that the players he does put in will be ultra-keen to put on a good show in order to get them in the frame for the cup final. So in a sense our boys still have everything to play for.

Agree with this lineup:

Howard
Lars yobo lescott baines

Osman Rodwell Castillo Gosling

JO Vaughan

Bench:

Nash
Fellaini
Cahill
Saha
Neville
Hibbert
AVDM - we may need an attacking option on the bench next week.

I've just bought a ticket for this game (needed some consolation as I can't get a Cup Final Ticket... :@)

It's be nice to meet up with any fellow GOT addicts.

Where do the Everton supporters congregate before the game?

pm me if you're up to meet.

Ever heard of finishing 5th?

The ball is firmly in our court. Injuries will happen regardless this is a must win match..here is why: Finishing 5th will give the boys that extra buzz and confidence to go to wembley. Finishing 5th will reduce the amount of games in europe next year. Finishing 6th regardless of an FA cup is a backward step to an equally backward team like Villa who simply dont deserve to finish 5th. Bias maybe but with a little extra money and finishing best of the rest is extremely important.

There is the other thing of our abysmal record at fulham, its been far far too many years since we have won down there in the league, taking a weakened side in a small squad is completely senseless. Thankfully Moyse will force everyone to play their best game for the upcoming final.

Injuries are part and parcel of football the only time a player is likely to get injuried is by going in half as.sed. The other thing is Fulham are not a dirty team they are not known for their over the top tackling so I cant possibly see why you want a weakened team to go to a bogey ground where we need to win, against a non dirty team to finish the best of the rest in 5th for more money and the amount of confidence it will give to the boys should we win against fulham. A win is an absolute must because Midds really didnt do them for us.

I just cant see villa v barcodes being a draw and the barcodes are prolly the worst team in the prem behind wba so i cant see them winning.

I have a friend here at work who is a big Hotspurs fan, and he's been trying to get me to also support them, but if I was picking a London area team, Fulham would be the team. Probably because they along with Everton started the Football League, and none of the other London area teams interest me any.

Yeah mate, and if you read my post, it says id rather finish 6th and go in to the Final with a full squad, than finishing 5th and picking up an injury or two and they end up missing the Final.

Of course, id love the best of both worlds - finish 5th, and go in to the Final with our squad unscathed! But as I said...it's just our luck :dodgy:
