Obviously prices high because of what's going on but what is the highest price you have paid for a litre, mine was earlier on, £1.76, can anyone beat that?

Hopefully this will last me 3-4 weeks as I only do 100 miles a week. I think it could hit £2.00 soon!

Just put £30 in mine, loads filling up the big jerry cans from M.A.S.H.

At the end of the day how much are people going to save by rushing to the pumps now for a full tank? We all just have to be prepared to pay more.

Yep, the missus went to get some diesel from by her mums, the garage had sold out.

Again, this situation feels contrived. We're near the point in society where almost every penny expected each week or month is already spoken for in council tax, energy bills, telecommunications, food etc. It will hasten the demise of the entertainment and hospitality industries as people have nothing spare.

One of my lads mates just text him, diesel in a Shell garage in Oswestry, £1.99 a litre.

Don't get the fill the car up thing. Surely the extra weight is gonna effect consumption and cost more anyway?
Have mine around 1/2 full and just top it back up to that when down to 50 miles of fuel left.
