Fuel.

Paid £1.66 litre for diesel yesterday. The petrolprices app is usually pretty good for finding cheap fuel, but it looks like they stopped updating prices 7 days ago. Still instructive as the price was £1.54 a litre.

I recall the RAC were arguing that prices could have been dropped earlier this year when oil prices fell, but retailers didn't. So it'll be interesting to see if we'll see any decreases as the price of oil seems to be settling.

Reaching 3 lv/litre of both diesel and petrol for non-premiums. (roughly 1.50 eur/ltr)

It was 2.50 in the beginning of the year, 2.20 around September.

Premiums are at 3.30 or so.

I can't say it surprises me given the circumstances, but also this is slightly more expensive for me currently if I fuel up with non-premium. Diesel prices here for the winter are always horrible, so having a Jeep - I'm used to it ( :( ).

Might not seem like a lot in Brit/Eurocoin, but we have never had them this high ever. Also they're not a lot in those currencies, but here that's not a small amount in leva - keep in mind the standards differ etc.

From averaged statistical data:
For the last 6 months diesel has become more expensive by 0,66 BGN/l (29,20%) with a tendency for becoming more expensive.

My boss has been informed by our fuel card company that prices are expected to go up by 20p per litre at the weekend.

I am in the transport industry and there are quite a few worried people at the moment regarding fuel prices.

It's really not sustainable. I'd imagine the treasury are absolutely coining it in at the moment. Wonder if there's scope to play with the tax threshold on fuel to ease the pain?

About 44Kc a litre in Czech or something like £1.45 a litre for unleaded, diesel is more.
We've always been one of, if not the most expensive countries for petrol in europe and the world. About 20 km from the border with Belgium it's about €1.83 a litre I believe. So lots and lots are crossing the border to fuel up. As I only use about one tank a month, I can't be bothered to lose an hour of my weekend.
