Fridge Freezer help!

Make sure the overflow isn't blocked, over time all sorts of kopite crapola can get bunged up in it.
Also, if you are loading it with a couple of hundred cans of Tennants, it will take a good while for them to get even close to being cold.
Check the door seal, if it isn't sealed it is going to struggle to do its job. (Don't ask the crew on here, they'll only suggest clubs or hammers)
Make sure the cable to the mains isn't shorting.
Lock your cat or dog in a part of the house/flat that ensure they cannot get to the fridge whilst you are out.

This is the most likely cause, based on numbers.

Check the seal all the away around and make sure it is touching flush all. Also check for cracks in the seal.

But is should fall under the landlords responsibility to repair it (provided you don't have a wacky tenant agreement)

if indeed it is a problem with a faulty seal im sure there is somebody on here called finnfan who could get hold of one for you,,, might be a bit expensive but you wont have to pay for it all at once, i'm sure he would let you club on it.

Spoke with the ledge of a land lord the other day - he's coming tomorrow with engineer to look at it... things have got So bad with it, I had milk yesterday for tea... yoghurt this morning. Bad Times.
