I won’t post the link to the various articles because I’ve already received a warning today for going off-topic and this is a football related thread to discuss Frank’s pedigree as a manager.
No, I think you'll be fine, it is the Frank Lampard thread. I mean, calling him a trump loving tory hasn't got you an off topic warning, right? Because it clearly underpins his managerial capabilities! Its information we all need to assess.

We finished the season with 39 points. 10 of those points came in Benitez's first 4 games. That was what kept us up.

Well I'm not sure it can be looked at so reductively mate. 6 points kept us up, wherever they were from.

The start helped, but it kind of illustrates how far the wheels had fallen off. Lampard did an excellent job to improve the PPG we had, and dramatically improve it in the 1 win in 14 games before. It was this more than anything else that kept us up, after Benitez was found wanting.

Benitez took over from a team that had got 59 points, and had all summer to rebuild. He messed it up.

Ok. Most people, normal people with values - when asked what they think of Trump, unless they are a redneck, gun obsessed racist - will tell you that Donald is a bad person.

Not our Frank (also states that’s he’s a Tory in the article)

Why does any of that matter?

Why does any of that matter?
Because I have values. Yes, Frank is a nice person, I wish him well.

But it doesn’t sit right with me that a Tory manages our club. Sorry but as a socialist , I can’t warm to him.

It’s not personal. Frank is alright. But as a manager he’s not up to it and his off field political views don’t align with our fanbase.

You don’t have to warm to him; you just have to support him in a footballing sense since he’s manager our club. Doesn’t matter who he votes for if he can make us a good team again.

No, I support Everton. Not Frank. Did you support Benitez last season? Or Allardyce? Or Koeman?
