Whilst it’s obvious he’s out of his depth now, can’t help feel he’s been left by himself to front up to everything at Everton

Where’s Denise, Bill, Thelwell? Not a word. Barely any of the players have fronted up.

Instead it’s Frank before and after every game answering every question on everything wrong at the club.
They're hiding.

I actually am really worried re. Thelwell you know. I think he's useless.

We were an absolute car crash and had won 1 in 14. We were only that far above the drop zone because of our good start, we were rock bottom of the form table by a mile. It was the same situation.
Difference was we had Richarlison and even Townsend scoring the odd goal. This side doesn't have anyone. Could argue that with if we'd bof been able to score at all we'd of been at least 3 points better off.

Sacking Martinez didn’t work. Sacking Koeman didn’t work. Sacking Silva didn’t work. We can’t keep sacking managers.

I don’t know what the alternative is, but there’s a lot more going on than just our manager.

You say none of those sackings have worked, and yet I have no doubt that we'd have been relegated already if we hadn't sacked those managers. Koeman for sure, Martinez too, Silva was taking us down as well.

That's the way the board want it. Lampard is just a shield for them at this stage.

He’s the director of football and the football is an absolute mess. Why not address the fans in an interview explaining why we are where we are and what the plan is to get out of it. Nothing though, radio silence.
It's the BK tactic say nothing when it all goes to crap it's criminal

This is where I stand up for Lampard in terms of him saying 'realistically we knew we'd be in a fight'.

Honestly, if anyone looked at our squad on the 1st of September and thought anything but we'd be in a dogfight if it stayed the same, then they're utterly thick.

All of that is not to say we shouldn't bin him. His record is awful and we need a better manager to get out what more they can out of these players. But it won't solve much.
Agree. The board have tasked the DoF and manager with getting all the big earners off the wage bill, selling our best players - from a team that was mid table. We’ve no money to sign players other than free, loans or transfers where teams take pennies upfront. We’re shopping way down the list of players we want.

In the meantime, the rest of the league is as strong as it’s ever been, there’s no Norwich or Burnley’s - every team is spending money.

We’re just trying to stay in the league until we can stabilise the financial position which will be another couple of seasons.

It’s a massive high risk plan from the board - always a high likelihood it was ending like this. We’ve got shades of Villa, Leeds, QPR about us. A club in turmoil.

I see little point blaming the manager for the predicament.

Regarding the claim that we can't afford to pay Frank off, I think I am correct in saying he doesn't get a lump sum, we just continue paying his salary as we would anyway. The point being that getting rid of Keane or Mina on loan would probably cover that.

I dread to think how much Ashley bloody Cole is on however, Clement as well, and we'd have to do similar with them as well.

Yeah but he spent/sanctioned/agreed with a. not selling Gordon for £30m+, and b. spunking £50m on Garner, Maupay and McNeil.

Unforgivable.

I agree the issues are deeper than the manager the board have been stripping the squad of high earners and goal scorers for two seasons, even not having a forward at the start of the season was criminal selling Richy and replacing with averageness. But still Frank's tactics aren't good enough an experienced manager has us points better off I'm convinced. We've taken the lead in multiple games that's Moyes and he knows he doesn't have many goals in the team he shuts up shop and gets wins or draws.
