Never fear lads, hes bringing in Anthony Elanga which will fix our comical midfield and high line in the opposition half for every possession
Great. Just what we need. United's 8th best winger, to provide balls for an injured striker or donkey Maupay. We'll be top half quicker than you can say "alphabetical order".

Who will replace him / who do you want to replace him with?
I think Frank Lampards reign comes to an end on Saturday 7th January at 4pm.

At which time, we will appoint Roberto Martinez on Monday 9th January with him signing a 3 year contract.

Prove me wrong Franky, im REALLY rooting for you.

I already made my prediction.

As for who I want, honestly, no idea, its who we can attract and I dont think that list is huge, given where we are.

Last night, really, but definitely this morning. Once it's inevitable, which it is, then I agree it's best to then get it over with asap.

Just delaying the inevitable really. The City result was an anomaly, if we'd been battered there as expected and then lost to Brighton then I'd like to think the board would have got rid this morning. But seeing as we're leaderless from top to bottom who knows.

as long as the board disucss their nr 1, 2 and 3 candidate today i am fine with not sacking Lampard yet. I mean who would be in temporary charge: Baines with Tait ? There is not much left with experience.
It is still a big game on Friday and i am sure Lampard will try the tactics as against City.

This is ridiculous. I like Frank but he's out of his depth. We will get the usual rallying cry and put in a decent show against Utd, but likely ultimately lose. The players will then do their usual 'that effort should be the minimum, we must back it up against Southampton blah blah blah'. Then we will make Southampton look like prime Brazil and sack Frank without any plan who to appoint.

Fast forward 12 months and repeat until we have one hell of a stadium in the championship. I hate to say it but we probably need moyes back, I can count on one hand how many times we 'performed' like Brighton under him.....

It’s always worth remembering a little bit of history and the fact that our most successful manager was in the exact same position as Frank finds himself…..
