Only if were not getting relegated, if we're too close to relegation he should be sacked.
E.g Say were in the bottom 3 at end of Jan or something
I think it's mad that that's not even seen as a minimum standard for Everton anymore
I dont think anyones actually accepting it is.
I was going to Everton during the kendall days so ive seen a lot.
I have absolutely no idea if lampard is good or bad long term. But im tired now of Everton just replacing manager after manager and putting no thought into it. The last two managers prior to lampard were short term appointments as neither were going to lay any foundations here. That couldnt keep happening. We havent Got Chelsea money either. We cant spend 250m every transfer window.
So might have to ride the storm with a younger manager and give him time. Im now a bit more of a realist. This time last year i thought this was as bad a Everton team as i'd seen. We all know about the last few years of recruitment. No need to bang that rotten drum.
First things first though. This manager needs backing for a few strikers. That is also as bad as ive seen in all my years watching Everton.
Starting the season with not a single striker to pick is something ive never seen in my life at a top professional club.
