A forward, "false 9" or whatever you wanna call it, used to be an inside forward, but not a striker and not a striker in the sense we need Maupay to be anyway.

Unless you think that at 1.70m Messi plays as a complete forward number 9 who goes up for headers all the time lol

But I also think it's a bit naive to think another manager would not be doin better . There are teams above us doing better with players who are worse I would suggest . Bournemouth who hammered us twice for one .

Thats a problem i think many Everton fans get wrong. I dont see many of these current Everton players as being any better than those at clubs mentioned.
