Gilbert..
Player Valuation: £50m
I will say....Eddie Howe had won 1 in 10 (drawn 4, lost 5) before they went on a 7 game unbeaten streak.
Lamps does need to stop losing games first and foremost. He also has less time to get it right.
100m aswell.

They've never forgiven him for telling their Teutonic tit a few home truths on the sidelines.I see a lot of 'Free Transfers' giving Lampard both barrels over the past couple of days ? bit suspicious that
Mate, REAL MADRID came calling. REAL... MADRID.
Not sure if you've heard of them but they're a bit of a big deal.
Benitez would destroy anything and everything that was left behind by Carlo to prove he's a "better" manager.
Problem there was, like you say, he wanted them to do things they couldn't do and never changed it

No disrespect to Carlo at all, but he sought out the move to Madrid. It was his people that informed Madrid about the release clause when the job came up. From around this time last year, Carlo turned on the players and started throwing them under the bus in post match interviews. It was clear something was up. What went on behind the scenes we will never know, but he was clearly unhappy with the players in the months before he quit. I'd speculate that he had also been made aware of what the transfer kitty was going to be in summer and thought balls to that. And I don't blame him at all.He would have left regardless. If it wasn't Madrid, it would have been somewhere else.
You do know Rafael and Carlo are good friends don't you.
Eddie Howe was sinking fast until he had 100mil of new talent arriving.

Is it Rafas fault that Frank won't play them and instead is playing JJK.We brought in 9 players.
They bought well. We didn't as your fearless leader spent the Digne money on two fullbacks that aren't ready.
Hang on a minute. Benitez wasn't defensive?! There's wrong and then there's that.No one has ever defended the players. It's the implementation with them.
As the spitter said last night, in one season they've gone from a quasi-counter attack, zero possession based team...to one that wants to keep the ball and be on the front foot and they don't know what to do.
Carlo openly admitted, the more defensive we played the better the results. The more open, the worse they were.
Bentiez was never defensive with us and Lampard isn't either. Their egos suggested that they can get these players to play a certain way. They can't.
Personally thought Carlo unlocked that key for the squad on what to do with it. The idea for this season was to add quality.
The longer time goes on the more it seems clear to me that Ancelotti was actually doing a good job, contrary to the belief of many on here. Look at all of our most recent managers and he was the one that remained positive and relatively successful for the longest. I think he genuinely wanted to make a good go of it here. It started off well but once his influence on our scum players waned and they reverted to type he became disillusioned. Like you say he was probably fully aware of the skint summer that was ahead, having only signed one fringe player in January. No disrespect to Carlo at all, but he sought out the move to Madrid.
