I honestly think Ferguson blew his chance at the weekend, if he’d got us the 3 points and we put in a good performance then keeping him until the end of the season may have been a possibility, then make the decision in the summer.

A win on Saturday would have bought the club time to appoint a manager. A defeat (couple with teams below winning) meant a quick appointment was necessary.

They clearly don't rate Ferguson enough to have him in charge. He was only given the Villa game because Martinez fell through.
