yep.....todays 2 are worse because its against the team we want to beat to 4th spot........ as you say, 4 points will make a massive difference come May....
its annoying too as, Arsenal played poor last week but still won, Liverpool played poor last week but still won....we've mainly played well, but have been punished late in both games when we've briefly played poorly....

No undefeated side has ever been relegated.

Very similar to the start we had last year, 3 points when it should have been 9.
It's disappointing but I'm sure we will find our groove soon, hopefully starting against Chelsea next week

The points dropped in the first 3 games of last season were a big reason for us missing out on 4th place last season IMO. Hopefully this won't come back to bite us on the arse, if we're aiming g for 4th this year we can't throw away games like we have been.

Fatigue and injuries are inevitable with the added games. It's how the squad is rotated which will be the key to minimise this, I can see besic, stones, Atsu etc getting a fair bit of game time in Europe and the league cup. It could also be why we didn't have a very busy pre-season, maybe Martinez is worried about burning out before the end of the season.

all out defending for 45 minutes in 2 games is hardly encouraging. We only had 2 shots on target yesterday.
