Every time I click on a post to reply or a different topic, etc, it's taking up to two minutes to load the adverts up, is there a problem with the site. On other sites it seems a lot quicker.

I'm finding an issue when copying and pasting a photo onto the site where it takes ages and crashes the page. This has never been an issue before.

If I download the picture and insert using the option, it uploads perfectly fine.

I had this too.

I'd made one change (Use redis for view counters rather than MySQL for the nerds amongst us). I've just reverted it back to how it was incase that has caused it. Let us know?

I tried to copy a thumbs up photo from Google hoping the change would resolve the issue, but it's done exactly the same thing.

However, I've had issues with Twitter roughly starting at the same time, so I've just tried Chrome rather than Firefox (my usual browser) and it did work*.

*Albeit laggy.

This is happening for me too. (I'm also using firefox.) As Chris said, downloading the picture first works fine.
It's just the copy/paste action that causes the page to crash.

Anyone having issues opening threads today on Chrome? It is taking an absolute age to open them, or click back onto the forum home page, but changing pages is fast. No other tabs open or things installing at the same time to test.

+ @PhilM

Struggling to fix this, will update then I can.

It just like freezes the page for a while - eventually it works but something is wrong with it.

Rapid for me - but as above, if you've tried to copy and paste an image into the editor, it will balls up the browser for a bit.

Yeh I figured it may be the traffic as well with all the transfer news this afternoon.

Isolated this issue, it's been a real pain to work out. Issue is with a third party, hoping to have a fix soon.

Annoyingly, I don't know when the issue started exactly which makes it a bit more tricky to nail down

I can't say I regularly copy and paste images onto the site, however I'm sure I can recollect that I tried around three days before and it appeared fine.

The issue first occured the day before I posted, so I'd be looking at +2 or +3 days prior to the July 23rd, so maybe the 20-21st?

Thought the same, cheers Phil.
