Former Everton Centre Forward Duncan Ferguson steps into management.....

When she gets her new hip you'll have to pop around and comfort her in true macca style ;)

She'll be paying for the damages to the car mate, she shouldn't have been anywhere behind me whilst I was reversing over the zebra crossing.

Old people though mate, nowhere safe to put them so you just gotta let them wander round and give em useless jobs.

On a positive note, with Beryl out of action for 12 months whilst her legs, arms, hip and shoulder heals properly, I got me mum in as stand in so she's now got 4 jobs on the side.

Result!

All cash in the hand, none of that tax stuff?

Well obviously I have to tax her cos I got her the cleaning job, dinner lady job, lollipop lady job and forklift truck driver job so I just take a little bit of the cream from the top and let her keep the other 35%.
She's blessed to have such a caring son mate, she still right to get up on my roof this weekend and clean all the leaves out the gutters?

Damn right mate, I've managed to get her to do your next door neighbour Pervy Frank's gutters sorted as well and scrub his 30ft satellite dish. Thinks his house is bloody Jodrell Bank the Pervy tramp.

Accrington Stanley vs AFC Fylde
8th January 2028

=Accrington result.webp

It was an exciting day for Fylde as they got to witness their new striker in action. Sargent got fans on their feet after one minute when he beat the defence to see his shot parried wide by the keeper. The opener almost came on 22 minutrs when Wisdoms perfect free-kick to the far post found Ferguson who headed against the post. Fylde were pushing hard for the opener and Sargent flicked on the long ball from Foster to Ferguson to release him through the middle, he played it wide to Henderson who crossed towards McGavin who was arriving in the box but the midfielder was pushed in mid-air and the referee pointed to the spot. Euan Henderson stepped up with confidence and sent the keeper the wrong way after a stuttered run up. Fylde were attacking in the second half but gave possession away cheaply, Accrington powered forward and got the ball out wide to Fletcher who struck a shot past the defence and through the fingers of Foster to level the score. Morton found Henderson with a lovely floated cross but the winger struck the post from close range and slumped with his head in his hands, Ferguson was vocal on the touchline encouraging his team, but the second came for Accrington when Cerri tapped in from Folivi's low free-kick leaving the defence bewildered as to what had just happened. With the game largely dominated by Fylde it was all three points to the home team and a stunned and dejected Fylde team looked lost on the pitch at full-time.

Grimsby Town vs AFC Fylde
15th January 2028

=Grimsby result.webp

After Fylde's surprise defeat against Accrington last week, they had to really put it a display away to Grimsby to have any hope of going back to the top of the table. An instant response after 1 minute saw McGavin play in Johnson who hit a low driven shot with his left foot into the bottom corner to give Fylde the lead. Ferguson won the ball in midfield on 24 minutes and played it to Henderson, he found Sargent outside the boz who turned and hit a shot a whisker wide of the post. Henderson showed some magic on 30 minutes when defenders committed themselves and allowed him to tip toe past them before unleashing a shot that went wide of the top corner. It wasn't going well for Barry Sargent when Ferguson hauled him off for O'Neill with 25 minutes to go. 15 minutes to go and Johnson turned provider for Henderson who slotted at the far post to make it 2-0 to The Coasters! Fylde were comfortable winners and moved up into second place after Rochdale beat Exeter 3-2.

AFC Fylde vs Shrewsbury Town
22nd January 2028

=shrewsbury result.webp

Ten minutges on the clock when Barry Sargent had the chance to score his first goal, the ball came over the top and the Shrewsbury back line tried to play offside but Sargent played it well, got one on one and had two shots saved before his third went over the bar! Fylde were taking the game to Shrewsbury early on and Morton's shot from outside the box looked like it was going into the bottom corner but the keeper got across and tipped it wide. Mick Wisdom took the corner but it cleared the box and was hunted down by Ferguson, he crossed to Kyle MacDonald who helped it on to Henderson and he made it 1-0! As the match went on, Ferguson urged his team forward and to keep the pressure on, Sargent was given the instruction to press the defence as it looked like he wasn't working as hard as he should be. Fans were happy to see Garrett in action since his injury and he managed over 60 minutes before being replaced by Okoroji, the left back was influential and played it to Henderson inside the box, then Sargent held it up well and found Johnson who made it 2-0 with 25 minutes left. Seconds left on the clock and Okoroji crossed into the box instead of keeping hold of the ball, the defender headed in the direction of winger Danny Smith who volleyed into the top corner to make it three and that was the icing on the cake!

DF: To come back after the Accrington defeat, keep two clean sheets and put five in the back of the net tells me we are back on course to finish this season strongly. I believe we have a real chance of making this season count and we have to put in a lot of effort in each and every game. Can we win the league? I don't know but we have to be at our best from now until the end of the season.

It’s like the the revolting offspring of when that donkey shagged that dragon in Shrek.

Looks like he's got some kind of fungal infection on his todger there. Really shouldn't be having that slapping around for all to see.

The poor bloke wearing that must lie to his kids about what he does for a living. Probably leaves the house wearing a suit and carrying a briefcase before getting changed in a Shell garage forecourt.
