Former Everton Centre Forward Duncan Ferguson steps into management.....

93. It's all over at Wembley. Not an exciting game but Wrexham get the job done and have won promotion to the football league.

Its heartbreak for Fylde. The lads look defeated. The manager holds his head high and is straight onto the pitch. It really is a difficult time for supporters and players of this club.
Bleeding Wrexham again.

We've got Duncan Ferguson on the pitch.

DF: it was a tough afternoon, we didn't create enough chances and the ones we did we wasted. We had a good chance in the first half but their keeper made a great save. Good luck to Wrexham in the football league. They've been great to watch this season and deserve it.

Sky Sports: Duncan, where does this leave you?

DF: Its a talk I'll be having with the chairman over the next few weeks and if he wants me to stay I'm happy to carry on.

I've got a bad feeling. If the chairman can't stick his hands in his pockets and get in a few top players in then will Dunc's ambitions be met?

Ryan Croasdale states the whole squad is hurting after another season ending in heartbreak and disappointment. The midfielder went on to say the team faces a challenge to bounce back but there is some great young talent within this squad and if Ferguson can keep them here there'll be success right around the corner.
