Former Everton Centre Forward Duncan Ferguson steps into management.....

The biggest moment in the history of AFC Fylde. They are one game away from the football league and manager Duncan Ferguson deserves all the plaudits for getting them to this stage. It has not been an easy three seasons and after failing at the first hurdle in last season's play-offs, it shows progress once again reaching the final at Wembley. Sky Sports caught up with Duncan Ferguson.

SS: Duncan, here you stand, minutes away from the biggest game of your managerial career. What is going through your mind right now?

DF: To start well, to be on the ball as soon as the game kicks off and to be playing in a way we did last time out. We know Ebbsfleet are a good team and in our last game we drew 3-3. The plan is to not have another scoreline of that magnitude. We have to be tighter defensively as we know they can cause us problems and we also have to be clinical going forward. It's a big day for my lads, they've earned it but they aren't here for the occasion or to be part of the day, they are here to win and these lads are ready for league two. They are good enough and have proved they are good enough.

SS: Duncan, good luck, I can see you're fired up for this.

DF: Thanks
