After the dramatic 2-2 draw with Reading at the weekemd, Charley Coe gets a start in the midfield alongside Mick Wisdom. Bristol City were 21st in the table after getting off to a difficult start being winless in three. Fylde came close to going in front when Bytheway thrashed the ball into the box but O'Neill could only head over the bar. Alan O'Neill pumped the ball forward on 26 minutes, Henderson beat the offside trap and headed it on to Tyrone O'Neill he couldn't get the shot off so played it back to Charley Coe who took a touch on his right and rifled it past the keeper! What a strike! He's scored again! Fylde got into the half-time leading but a minute into the restart were cut open when Jason Savage found Uchenna in space and put it into the top corner. The midfield target who turned down a move to Fylde to go to Bristol City haunts Duncan Ferguson. Okoroji was in space on the left a few minutes later, crossed to the far post and Bytheway managed to get the ball past the scrambling keeper with the header down into the goal! This one could have a second half thriller written all over it and it was only a minute later when Remi Hughes levelled for Bristol in this epic encounter. Tyrone O'Neill was struggling for goals and the keeper beat away his close range shot on 56 minutes. Wisdom took the resulting corner, the bal was cleared at the near post, Charley Coe took it down well, passed it right to Bytheway who hit it on his right foot into the bottom corner! 3-2! Fylde have 30 minutes to hold on, can it be done? 77 minutes gone, Walsh took the corner from the left hand side, Logan headed onto the bar, Foster tried to get it clear but Martin Earl was on the goal line and he got it over! 3-3! Bristol went for the fourth and Savage found Logan out wide who crossed low for Bowen to get it past Foster and put them in the lead! Ferguson had nothing to lose and brought on Oto'o and Jamieson on the right. Fylde were tiring as the game was drawing to an end, 92 minutes gone, Jamieson plays it wide to Okoroji, he sent it a low cross which was missed by the Bristol defence and Oto'o was there to knock it in! Fylde have equalised late again and its Oto'o once again to the rescue! There's still time for a winner with 6 minutes added on. Henderson played it into Josh Ferguson's feet, he took it forward and got the shot off but it drifted wide. What a game it was! Both teams showed great determination and its a point apiece in a fantastic match.

=Millwall result.webp

Fylde play their next home game on a Sunday yet again due to Accrington Stanley playing the previous day. The only change to the line-up from midweek was Josh Ferguson in for Declan Marshall. Fylde were giving the home fans hope in the first half hour of the match, taking the game to Millwall but were unable to get a clear shot on target. Fylde were playing the better football but both sides were level at the halfway mark. Callum Coton had the first real chance of the match on 55 mnutes when he headed slightly wide and half the ground thought it went in. Sam Allaway came on for the last 30 minutes for Tyrone O'Neill who was very isolated in the match. Oto'o came on for Bytheway and looked lively, he was brilliant in the tackle and getting the ball forward but Millwall were also pushing for the winner. The Fylde back line were in unison and defended well. It was a 0-0 draw at the Crown Ground and Fylde remain unbeaten.

DF: With each game we grow in confidence, eventually we wil turn these draws into wins and build on that momentum. I am very happy with how we are holding our own in this league.

The midfielder has been frozen out at Hearts having spent last season in the Scottish Premiership with Kilmarnock making 29 appearances. Wilson pushed hard for a transfer in the summer but no deals came to the surface until Duncan Ferguson had scouts watching Hearts Reserves where Wilson came with a glowing reference back to Ferguson. Jordan Wilson is excited to be getting back to first team action when he joins up with Fylde in January.

With Ferguson's belief growing in his players, he kept the same side that earnt a draw against Millwall. Wisdom sent the corner into the far post on the 1 minute mark and Tyrone O'Neill's glancing header was just wide. It was 22 minutes on the clock when James Ward-Prowse hit a swift diagonal ball into the box and Simon John was there to tap it home. Fylde were under pressure from Ward-Prowse but Okoroji was dealing with him well until he had to go off with a slight calf injury. Jamieson came on to play at left back. Mick Wisdom took the corner for Fylde on 55 minutes, it was cleared back out to Wisdom who found Alan O'Neill on the edge of the box near the touchline, he crossed into the six yard box and Josh Ferguson got in front of Bartlett to volley into the net! Euan Henderson was struggling and losing possession too easily on the left, it appears Henderson is struggling this season and we haven't seen his best. With the game level, a win would be a brilliant result for Fylde but it was Barnsley coming forward with Ward-Prowse, Simon John took a shot from outside the box and it was just wide of the post. Charley Coe with the ball inside the Barnsley half on 83 minutes, he got it left to Jamieson who was advancing forward, he crossed but the ball ran past the box, Morton was there to receive it and he crossed for the far post and Euan Henderson headed home his third of the season! What a finish and what a moment for Fylde! Fylde got over the line and recorded a fantastic away win at Oakwell!

Declan Marshall came on against his former club for Mick Wisdom. Time was running out for Fylde and Forest were playing very confidently. Tim Reed was having an excellent game. It was job done for Nottingham Forest and a comfortable victory for the home team.

DF: We tried our best and we were just up against a much better team. There's a reason why they are challenging for promotion, they were a different class today. We don't want to let that result bog us down and let it affect our confidence because we have been playing really well this season and we want to keep that going.

Where's Jordan Wilson? We can't just be throwing around 350k waiting for him to learn how to do 5 keepy uppies in training ffs

We've been sold a duff and it's like watching that old Niasse fella who Everton got blagged into signing years ago!!!
I heard a rumour from inside the camp that he was a bit 'raw' and had no concept of what a locker was and just turned up in a full kit saying that's what all Jordans do. To be honest I can't remember much more than that as a lad in a goalkeeping outfit jumped out of a bush and knackered my knee soon after.
