Always had a soft spot for the toffees. My old man was a season ticket holder and used to tell me tales of the likes of Cahill and Arteta and someone called fuckoffosman.Could’ve used the passion of Mick Wisdom out there today.
UTFC!
They had less fight than Forest Green when they stopped the underground railroad into the training ground for Gregg's pasties and sausage rolls.Could’ve used the passion of Mick Wisdom out there today.

I heard a rumour from inside the camp that he was a bit 'raw' and had no concept of what a locker was and just turned up in a full kit saying that's what all Jordans do. To be honest I can't remember much more than that as a lad in a goalkeeping outfit jumped out of a bush and knackered my knee soon after.Where's Jordan Wilson? We can't just be throwing around 350k waiting for him to learn how to do 5 keepy uppies in training ffs
We've been sold a duff and it's like watching that old Niasse fella who Everton got blagged into signing years ago!!!

Is that ex-EFC B. Carroll playing for Luton??AFC Fylde vs Wolverhampton Wanderers
18th September 2029
Alex Morgan started for Wolves and had scored 7 goals in 8 games so far this season. Fylde will need to be strong at the back to keep the striker at bay. Right back Joe Jamieson got a start for Fylde and almsot opened the scoring on 18 minutes when his low hit free-kick was pushed away by the keeper. Fylde were doing a great job in keeping Wolves out and were composed defensively. Fylde were playing well and on 40 minutes conceded a free-kick 25 yards out, Dreyer went for goal and Foster done well to save but Hajdini reacted first and put the ball into the net to put Wolves ahead. Fylde were being done by set pieces and didn't clear the corner sufficiently on 44 minutes, Thorniley was in acres of space on the right of the goal and got it in at a tight angle. Wolves looking hard to beat now. Fylde had ten minutes to try and get something, two goals behind and Ferguson urged his players to get the ball forward. Wolves were too good for Fylde and passed the ball through the defence, Dreyer was onside when he was played in and buried it past Foster to make it three. Wolves were full of energy and Fylde were chasing shadows, Miller passed it to Gibbs-White, David Green shrugged of Tyler Garrett and made it four on 90 minutes. It was a disappointing defeat for Fylde and were outclassed by Wolves at the Crown Ground.

AFC Fylde vs Luton Town
22nd September 2029
It was the meeting of the two teams that came up from League One and Luton were finding it difficult so far sitting 20th in the table. Yan Dhanda was a problem for Fylde the last time these sides met and was also a tranfer target of Duncan Ferguson. He started on the left wing. Fylde kicked off, the ball was played out wide and Morton took it down the right, he crossed for O'Neill but it was headed away, Mick Wisdom won the header to Josh Ferguson and got it to Henderson who curled it into the top corner! 1-0 after twenty seconds! 16 minutes gone and Fylde were dominating, Wisdom sent in the free-kick from 30 yards out to the far post and Bytheway got up with the scissor kick and rocketed it into the net! What a finish and his 5th of the season! Okoroji took the next free-kick for Fylde in a dangerous position and it was floated to the far post and Bytheway put it past the keeper for his second! Fylde were in complete control of the game and didn't look like letting up. Luton enjoyed some early attcking football in the second half but Foster and the defence were playing very well and keeping them out. Fylde looked a class above Luton and almost made it four in stoppage time when Bytheway played a lovely ball through the defence for O'Neill whose shot was saved from six yards out. It was a great win for Fylde and another three points in The Championship.
DF: We were great today and wanted it more than they did, we made sure we were first to every ball and made our possession count. Bytheway was fantastic to watch.

Crystal Palace vs AFY Fylde
29th September 2029
Fylde travelled to Selhurst Park to take on Chris Wilder's Crystal Palace who were 4th in the Championship after being relegated from the Premier Division. Palace were in fine scoring form and Fylde may struggle to contain Ben Brereton. Fylde were doing a god job keeping Palace out in the first half but had failed to take a single shot so far. With thirteen minutes to go, Rooney took the free-kick for Palace and played it short to David who got it outside the box to Ryan Johansson who launched it into the top corner giving Foster no chance. Fylde had done so well to hang on but Palace got the goal that could see them win this match. 7 minutes to go and Bytheway beat his man and got down the right, O'Neill took it in his stride and struck the post! Henderson got the rebound! 1-1! Henderson calmly finishes! Three minutes added on and Palace pushed for the winner. Dasilva was pacey down the left and evaded the challenges but got the ball into Khoury who shot wide. Seconds left and Fylde had the ball in the Palace half, Coe played it to Ferguson, Ferguson found Okoroji who joined the attack down the left. He tried to cross but it was blocked and put out for a throw. The match comes to an end and it's a great point for Fylde away at Selhurst Park.
DF: We went down in the final third of the game but what character to come back and get a draw at a club with Premier League experience. This is a brilliant result for us and a great point.

LEAGUE TABLE
View attachment 117220
Ten games into the season and Fylde have returned 14 points from 10 games putting them in mid-table when many predicted they would be around the bottom and struggling. They have picked up some important points so far and to get a draw away to Crystal Palace will lift their confidence. Cardiff City are the next visitors to the Crown Ground and it will be a tough ask to defeat a team who have won seven from ten.
