You could go through a whole list of players in Seria A in the early 90s that many sky sports subscribers will have forgotten or never heard about.

Think just about that Milan team that smashed Barca 4-0 in the European Cup final

Anyone of them in their prime would get a game for any team in the PL
 

Not forgotten as such - but these lads were what footy is all about - Alan Hudson, Tony Currie, Keith Weller, Howard Kendall, Rodney Marsh, Stan Bowles, Frank Worthington, Glenn Hoddle, Benny Carbone, Juninho, George Armstrong, Eddie Gray, Peter Barnes, Denis Law, Liam Brady - and of course the greatest of them all - little curly Alan Ball.

Panucci played for Chelsea if my memory is right.

Boban was awesome, world class.
