Irish blue since 82 when at 6 years of age i landed at the checkout counter with an everton school bag. The only one in the shop. Spend my life surrounded by reds , mancs and more recently chelsea and city. Was the best thing i ever did was bring that bag to the check out. Even Moved to liverpool for couple years so i could call myself a season ticket holder :)

The one absolute certainty about a foreign man, woman or child supporting Everton, is that they ar not glory hunters! So as far as I am concerned they are sound and as much part of our often wonderful, mostly infuriating club as me, my dad or my brothers and sisters who are all mental blues! My only reservation about a foreigner supporting us is that they must be severely masochistic!

I got wellied all around Wolverhapton years ago, because a load of the local grocks were facing up an obviously German or Austrian bloke wearing an Everton scarf! When i went over to stand by him, they asked me why i was standing up for a Kraut, i said he wasnt a kraut, he was a blue-boy, one of ours!

Sadly that act of selfless comraderie didn't stop them webbing the pair of us all over the street, but my god me and him got bevvied later! It was his first game too, he just happened to be in the UK on business! Chose us entirely at random for some strange germanic reason, but i lost his contact details and so have never been in touch since!

Luv it pal. Similar to meself minus the schoolbag!

You're not foreign mate, you're Evertonian. You don't need to be a scouser to be a bone-fide Blue.
I'm a Manc and have been watching the Blues since around 1970 as a nipper, had a season ticket for over 30 years and never once been looked down on by any Evertonian home or away irrespective of having the accent of the enemy!

The accent comes in handy sometimes - like this coming Tuesday I'll be sat in their end as it's the only ticket I can get. Nearly got filled-in with my Dutch mate at the Oviedo 1-0 and the 4-4 mind!

I feel like the only Everton supporter in Romania but that just makes it all the better. I've been trying to spread the love at my workplace but so far I've only triggered kopites in the office.

I did find myself going proper UKIP in town yesterday looking at how few of the Liverpool supporters were local. Down to the fact how they're all glory hunting half and half scarf wearing bell ends.

Any Evertonian regardless of where they're from is welcome at our club.

Halfies all over the kop yesterday. And all with the phones out recording. Horribles.

I've only ever met two other Evertonians. It was they who clued me in to the joy ( and pain) of being a toffee. I'm hooked with no possibility of ever wriggling free. The only place I get to talk to other Evertonians is on the web. I've never seen another locally. I doubt I will ever get to Goodison, or wherever, so this will have to do me. It does make me feel like part of something, and I really enjoy the banter.

Could care less about LFC.
