Not sure how I could face my parents and grandparents or even friends and neighbours if I came back from holiday with some little thing attached to my arm...

Lived overseas for ages, haven't been with a British girl for 10 years, so will most likely end up with a foreign girl in the long-run - just know that I won't be ordering her off some website and will have gotten to know her the old-fashioned way.
