Nothing less than a standing ovation for our boys in blue,

A cruel way to lose a match, but I for one am proud of them.

When it came to pens I simply walked away from my TV and turned on the hear the results later. I simply couldn't watch.

But proud nonetheless, and I will be giving it all on Sunday.

you could feel the tention in the ground when it went to pens, i think we all new the outcome.

i dont think they would have missed one if it went on all night.

Im sure they will get it on sunday mate. Pens are a lottery so im sure that no Evertonian will be scathing on the team. The performance nd heart of the team would surely be appreciated by all

I knew we were going to lose.

I said to someone near where i sit that Yak was gonna miss his.

Unfortunately, i think most shared that feeling mate. Honestly not saying this now but it just looked all wrong with a short run-up etc

The Yak always looks wrong though.

I thought his pen was class, sent the keeper the wrong way, put the right spin on the ball to take it away from the keeper had he gone the right way.... just applied a tad too much spin.

One inch to the right and he's a laid back hero.

hell of a time to be considering laid back.

What I mean is, his whole demeanour is laid back all the time.

So it's not that he WAS laid back in himself, rather that he APPEARED laid back to everyone else watching, because that's just how he moves generally.

I'm quite sure he was shitting himself as much as everyone else taking a pen (Sir Tommy of Gravesen excluded, of course)

david unsworth school of penalty taking.

he or anyone could do a backflip and knock the penalty in with his head. i dont care. just put the bleeder in.

im not affixing blame, its simply a statement of desire.

Not getting at Yak but a class pen goes in to the net,Arteta scored a class pen as did Tommy sadly they scored 4:(

I'll be at fulhan on sundy!! an i'll be giving the lads a big clap an shout after the exploits of the other night.

Any one els going??

I'll be there with my two kids - can't wait to show my appreciation for Wednesday's performance.

Fulham are going all out to make it a "wear your colours" day (their words not mine) asking all Fulham supporters to wear their shirts, plus providing everyone with "clappers". So given the huge support Everton will have should be a very good atmosphere. (y)
