I was reading this, and considering all the negativity that can sometimes be expressed on this forum, i thought we may all want to take a bit of a lesson from Sir Alex Ferguson!

On a more serious note though, I found it an interesting read. No one can argue about the mans ability as a manager.

I saw this in the paper at work last week, seemed really interesting.

Man management is all about treating different players as inviduals, a pat on the head might work best for one whereas a bollocking might work bext for the next. The hard part is working out which one needs which.
 


He's right though. A sincere well done is nearly always appreciated no matter what your position. Same as a basic management tool of asking people how they are, not how's the workload or sales but how they are personally from time to time.

I'm up to three stars now and in charge of the drive thru.
