Might be worth having a thread to post your footy bets and recommendations throughout the season. Plenty of markets out there and punters on here who like a little interest.

Just one pre-season bet for me at this stage - Southampton to win the PL on the Handicap betting with +38 points. I thought they finished the season well, it looks like they’ve kept Ings and I really like the CB they’ve brought in.

I always back skybetrequest a bet.

7:45 games of

Denmark vs. Belgium
Portugal Vs. Croatia
Sweden Vs. France

1 corner each team in each half and a card each @ 11/1
3 corners each team and a card each @ 8/1

£5, low risk, 90 minutes of entertainment

England, Portugal, France and Belgium wins netted me a little £60.

Had a 100/1 bet come agonisingly close. Needed another card for Sweden and a goal for France (Griezmann missed a pen and Lindelof could have been sent off at the end).

This. Bet a bit more than I was comfortable with during lockdown and took the nuclear option of registering with Gamstop for 6 months. Worth thinking about if you take a couple of hits everyone. Remember the golden rule: take a loss on the chin and never chase.
Whats gampstop mate? Assuming some sort of self exclusion? cant find anythin on google

At last season's restart I stopped doing accumulators and started doing single bets around the odds of evens.
8/10 have won.
Other than having doing my normal match day score prediction I'm now sticking with this route.

WBA have lovely value at evens to go down

That does sound enticing but Ive not yet had a look at what teams have bought who and im waiting for the day before season start before I do. I will keep that one in mind ;) .

That reminds me, was the "stupid" rumour on here true about Newcastle being favourites to finish higher than Everton true. Hope it is?

Tbf it might even be better to wait until the window shuts next month.

Never saw that rumour but The bookies definitely have Newcastle down to finish bottom half, and Everton to be top half.
