Blues,

Sorry - I've had to enable 'stuck' banner ads for logged in users. (Who aren't forum supporters). Previously, these ads were only for those not logged in.

Please stick with it - due to energy fees, our host/server increased costs 5% then another 3% in the past 12 months. No Everton during December due to world cup (when advertisers bid their most/usually our biggest revenue month by some distance) has meant I've had to chase some lost revenue with ads.

Speaking to ad agencies etc to see if there's anything else we can do.

Hoping to ditch the logged in stuck ads again come February.

Thanks.

How is traffic currently?

Just a general enquiry, not in relation to the costs.

Would have thought now with us about to sack the manager would be busier.

This was a week after Benitez was sacked last year, I just thought with the added Board issues, plus the royal rumble in the dressing room things would be busier.

Have a feeling Jan will end up higher this year - suspect last year most traffic was on who would replace the manager after he was sacked. Also, loads of Chelsea traffic to see opinion on Lampard last year.

I'm not sure if this is connected to the footer but a couple of times, last night and this morning, whilst reading a post I have automatically been redirected to another site page, a couple of times to McAffee and just now to this, below.

It wasn't an accidental click as I wasn't touching the keyboard, just reading.

I have run a virus check just in case but it has picked nothing up.

Oh that's the cause. I spent hours (well minutes really) looking at settings and cookies to get rid of the horrific things that keep popping up into the area I put my finger every time I want to scroll.

Now I know its deliberate and for a good cause though I'll stop trying to fix what I thought was a bug.

Sake.

I had this issue yesterday but seems ok today.
