I think the racism thing was blown out of all proportion. I don't think he's a bad bloke, just ridiculously old fashioned.

His comments about Totti were spot on ^^ But this was the best he came out with.

Yeah I know, but I don't think he was a rampant racist. Just an old white bloke saying something stupid. I can't bring myself to despise him for it, given around of everyone his age (at least half) has thought or said something similar.
