Only ones I can stick are on radio: Jimmy Armfield who's a class act, and Stuart Hall's match reports...a complete ******* loony but hilarious.

The one's on the telly are formulaic, smarmy, cliche-ridden smart arses who should be shot...well, sacked anyway.

I'm OK with shot, actually, Dave...

Motson is boring these days but has one great redeeming feature that he's very evenhanded between the sides on whom he commentates - counts for a lot in my view. Same for John Murray - very professional.

Alan Green (leaving aside the fact that he's an out-and-out red who wears his allegience on his sleeve whilst doing his job.....ugh...) is far too full of his own importance. On Saturday, he had the audacity to say that he's made a referrees day more difficult because he was commentating on a match in which he was officiating. Green seems to think that the refs look at the radio times or whatever to see if he's working on their games....how arrogant is that. Our licence fees pay this idiot. The belter ought to be sacked. Now.

Other than that, I quite like Pearce's excitement whilst talking about the game. I also liked whoever was commentating on te Wigan Arsenal game last Sunday - when that screamer went in from N'Zogbia, he was squealing himself - lovely....

That's the toned-down BBC version. Remember him on Ch5 doing his South American Goooooooooooooal stuff?

<shudders>

motson just dubs over motd and cant do live, for years we all thought he was at the games, then 1 week he did 2 games played at the same time. Look how many times he predicts events on motd, not genius just cheatin'

Brian Moore was 10 times better with his mid week euro continental mic.

Chris Kamara would make a great commentator haha! I also hate the way some say Yagielka instead of Jagielka the f****** idiots!

The guy on Fifa 10, I think it's Martin Tyler, he says Fell-eye-eenee.

And for the yanks on here, Max Bretos and Christopher Sullivan are the worst commentating duo ever.

Did anyone else hear Stuart Hall pronounce Anichebe's name on Saturday. It came out as Arniekaybee or sommat...he's completely bonkers but I do love him...

terrible, shocking he could be mistaken for some aryan type with that white hair and pale complexion.

great on 'it's a knockout' though.

bring back 'it's a knockout' good hearty belly laughing fun, we could have a g.o.t. team
