Pink Floyd are one band that are so good it is impossible to explain them. I often listen to 'Wish You Were Here' over and over again - I've easiy listened to that album over a thousand times and sounds as awesome as the first time it hit my ears in 1977.
I have all their albums and never tire of hearing them. A band so brilliant I bet the thread starter here can flip on a Floyd disc and for those 30 magical minutes or so not once think about food.

Gilmour's guitar work on Comfortably Numb at Earls Court is perhaps THE best guitar solo ever. Will never be bettered. Genuinely makes my hairs stand on end every single time I listen to it or stick the DVD on.

Piper at the Gates of Dawn is a decent record.

Absolutely loathe "The Wall". Nothing more than an "I hate women" rant.

They've made some alright records, Ummagumma, Wish You Were Here, Meddle...

Well overrated though.
