Is anyone up for a poker tourney this evening then? Either between a group of us on here or if we all jump in a public one.
When I'm at the casino I'll sometimes wonder how much I would tip if I won big. Thing is most places have the dealers pool their tips -- so that $100 means maybe $2 extra take-home for the dealer who actually dealt the cards (depending on the size of the casino and their dealer pool). Up it to $1000 and it's still not much to that specific dealer. In poker the dealer can actually impact the game somewhat (keeping people happy, quickly resolving disputes, dealing fast so you get in more hands) but in table games their impact is more limited.I play this sometimes at the casino, a woman next to me got a royal flush $84k, she bought the table a round of drinks and tipped the dealer $100 tight arse
