Blues,

Flashscore approached us, asking if they could pop an ad on here. It's the one at the top that says 'Everton Live Scores and Stats'.

I've used their app for years for goal notifications, it's really good.

Anyway, it's a one month trial. If it's a good fit, there's a chance it could be a year sponsorship.

We'd appreciate any support with it, and if you haven't yet. Visit them and download their app, it's genuinely really good.

It is good for telling you when there is a goal, apart from saying you have a goal for about a minute, then it hasnt happened lol

Assume they or a data partner must have someone at every game who press a button or something the very second there's a goal.

They're about 5 minutes before the likes of BBC live updates.

That is how i thought they do it, even for the u18s or the games where you don't think anyone will even bother with, i don't know

O yeah i use that one, its good, especially when you have been the cinema on a night when there are loads of games on and you turn your phone on after the film and it goes mental for a minute with scores up dates

It's worst watching the updates if you are using a stream and getting to final mins etc, hoping you don't see a dot for goal etc and so on in our game for oppo lol

Use it a lot, the “big chance” feature that flashes next to a team when viewing “all games” can have you pacing the room. Unless its a pen Im not sure what triggers the “big chance” feature to appear. I would say around 80% of the time this appears it usually followed up with a goal.

It can sting you though- nothing worse than when you think your team has scored only for the dreaded “score correction” notification a few minutes later. Had that a few times. And it does often run a bit ahead of whats on TV so if there's a set piece or a an attack and you get the flashscore ping then you know its coming, for better or worse.
