I've noticed that after the current tricky run is over the only team that we'll meet who we'd expect to finish above us (United, Chelsea, Arsenal, City, Spurs and Liverpool) before February is the Gunners.

That's three month's of middling teams to try and get ourselves in a strong position for our traditionally powerful finish.

Why are you expecting the RS to finish above us.......did you see the Spurs game.....

I noticed that as well, we could well move quietly up the table.

On the other hand, games that look easier on paper don't always work out that way. We could win all our games in October and then go on a losing streak.

I don't think there are many great teams in the PL, if we had a larger squad and played a bit more attack minded we could be challenging for the top four, but to be honest I don't expect to get near the european places this season. Very stale feeling all around the club... So lets hope for a morale-boosting win over our overrated neighbours on Saturday lunchtime and 'kick on' from there.

I think in many ways these playing the top of the league teams suit us, or have done in the past, we are dangerous when teams are open against us - rather then playing teams we have to labourasly try to break down, im expecting some - im sure not all positive results over this period.

If we play any striker or anyone with pace, that is.

We can beat every team on this planet except Barcelona.. and as we know, we can lose almost every game as well. This is Everton...

But anyway, I really like our fixture list for this season, hopefully, it can be a benefit for us.
