Think were better spending on the best players we can get in defence, striker and keeper and another top midfielder to rotate in/out.

If were looking for players either side of lukaku then perhaps we need to sign and then convert a central player or a forward to play there.

Would you not think it wise to buy an actual footballer rather than some kid?

Great article, enjoyed that. if I've followed it properly: if Barkley adds a coupla goals a season he's basically as good as anyone and better than many 20-30M tag. He's also home grown.

I'm not sure RK loves him but it does show how criticism and the lure of CL might make top 4 team sit up.. not signing his contact suggests he might have people looking. still, I'd take a straight swap with Rooney + 30m if we get sigs with the change.
