Five points ...

I'd take a point now against Chelsea and be gutted that we have only 3 draws from the opening 3 games again.

Only reason I say that is I think Chelsea will hammer us next week. Gut feeling. We have thrown away 4 points in the opening 2 games but I would see a point next week as a point gained.

If I was offered that before the season started I would have considered it a decent return, but the way we've dropped the points we have would make 5 points disappointing. We should already be on 6.

Before the season started, yes. As you would have assumed it would have been a win against Leicester (no offense @FOXINPEACE), and draws against Chelsea and Arsenal.

But given we've dropped 4 points from winning positions in the opening 2 games, having 5 points from 3 games would be super frustrating. Don;t get me wrong, though, I'll be absolutely thrilled if we beat Chelsea.

Given that we're sitting on 2 now off course. :-)

Assuming you meant from the start of the season.

A Par (to use a golf term) for me would have been 6 points which I said at the start of the season. We really should be beating Leicester and given that Arsenal and Chelsea where two home games 3 points out of 6 wouldn't be too much of an ask given that we took all 6 from those two fixtures last season.

But 5 points would hardly be a disaster.

Even if we only take a draw or even nothing at all from Chelsea I wouldn't be too worried. We just need to go on a bit of a run after the international break.

As I suspected Spurs are off to a good start and we can't let them or Liverpool get too far away. It's a long season and unlike last year where we drew 3 games we should be winning. This start is totally different and can't be judged the same way.

If we beat Chelsea I'll be happy. Definitely can't see it happening though, have a feeling we'll lose 1-3.

I know we fcuk'd up, but I would have taken 5 points from 3 games before this season. (the 3 against Leciester though). But F me everton, I haven't watched MOTD yet this season because of you!

I'm with you on the MOTD als the Sunday football I have missed. I'm not even able to have prober footy discussions cause I don't know what's going on. I use to watch it no matter what but I find better things to do with my time than self inflicted torture.

A win v Chelsea and I'll be back to been a football genius. Looking at the next few easy fixtures expecting nine points from three games and a draw happens and the process repeats.

I would have expected 5 points, win against Leicester follow by 2 draws, but if you want to do it the hard way that's fine by me.

In the prediction league, I forecast 2-2 against Leicester and 2-2 against Arsenal, they are the only results I have got spot on. This must make me the best ITK on this forum. I am now off to bed comfortable in the knowledge that this time next week we will be sitting on 5 points following a 2-1 win against Chelsea. Vault me.
