I'd take our entire backline.

Mirallas and Lennon were a toss up for me but leaning Lennon.

Osman's been good for us but I think Dembele would be more dangerous overall.

Defoe over Jelavic only because he's been doing it longer. Could have been a draw there.

Lol, I thought Liverpool fans were deluded, but you guys seem to take it to a whole different level.

No offence, but these kind of comparisons are usually rather pointless, with an obvious bias for your own players and lack of detailed information about the players from the opposing team. For example, it's quite clear that some of you haven't followed a lot of Spurs matches this season.

If you would've done that, you would have known that Parker barely played this season due to injury, so if anything Sandro should be compared to Gibson, not Parker. Or the fact that Walker has been absolutely horrible this season, so I'm rather surprised that a lot of Everton fans have him in their squad, it seems like some of you seem to rate him based upon last year's performances, but this year we see an entirely different Kyle Walker. I would say that Naughton is actually better than him, but thus far he has mostly played at left-back. Furthermore, and perhaps understandable because Vertonghen has played a lot at left-back for us, but he's a CB. Has played in that position a lot of the times as well for the Spurs. If you would compare him to Baines at left-back than Baines would win and you guys have another Everton player in the best-11. But if he's rated as a CB, than he'll surely be in there alongside Jagielka as the first-choice CB pairing.

Lloris
Coleman-Jagielka-Vertonghen-Baines
Sandro-Dembele
Lennon-Fellaini-Bale
Jelavic/Defoe

This is how I would rate the best combined 11, but as I said, it depends on how you view certain players and in which position they play and if they actually played a lot this season or have been out injured, Kaboul has barely played for example, but is someone who could potentiall be in that first-11, Parker perhaps the same. Lloris has been outstanding for us, a real sweeper-GK, he spots a potential dangerous situation and prevents it from happening, much better than Friedel, who brought a lot of confidence with his experience, but his reflexes where really diminishing at his age. Sandro and Dembele have been outstanding for us, Parker was player of the season for us last year, but we didn't even miss him much because we had the Sandro-Dembele combination. Pienaar is a good player, but Bale is better. I do rate Mirallas, but Lennon really has flourished under AVB this season. Jelavic-Defoe is a difficult one, Defoe is really having a great season, but at the end of the day his overall contribution to the game (apart from scoring) is very limited. Baines and Fellaini should obviously be included. Jagielka deserves a mention as well. I don't paticularly rate Coleman, but Walker has been awful and Naughton mainly used on the left.

I don't think you quite understand the meaning of "deluded" mate.

Funny thing is, your choices aren't a whole lot different to anyone on here. I'd take Mirallas over Lennon every day of the week like. When fit, he's looked brilliant. Welcome, though.

I'm not native English, so I make these kind of mistakes. :P Perhaps, ignorant would be better?

Overall most Everton fans seem to be reasonable on here, but there are a few that really don't seem to have a clue about things concerning Spurs. That's why it's really pointless to have these kind of threads. I think Mirallas is a really good player as well, but Lennon this season truly has been outstanding. The previous seasons he could be really frustrating, but this one he's been fantastic, he still needs to improve his end-product though, doesn't score nough.

But you're more knowledgeable about Everton than we are about Spurs, right?

Don't disagree with you altogether though, like.

I know a lot less about Everton than you guys. These kind of threads are always pointless, both on an Everton forum, but also on a Spurs one. In fact, it's probably best to have these kind of threads on a general PL football forum, instead of a specific club, because than there won't be as much bias. If we would do this thread at a Spurs forum I'm quite sure that most of them would have Baines, Fellaini and Jagielka, and that's about it. And I'm quite alright with doing these kind of threads just for fun. But at least people could put a bit of effort into finding out whether Parker has been out the whole season or not. If they don't, than it's just pointless.
