against Huddersfield on Weds, should Moyes keep the same eleven from Saturday to start the game just to give them confidence to get a win under our belts or use the usual tampering method of reserves and first team to prevent injuries?

Happy blend of youth and regulars should be used.

Play Heitinga and Jagielka as a partnership in defence; Coleman, Rodwell, Gueye and Beckford should start; The rest of the team should be used to experiment with the next league game in mind (Pienaar/Billy on opposite wings).

One thing we don't need to see is more Osman, Distin, Saha and Hibbert start.

I'd choose quite a youthful team as it should be a good match to help blood the youngsters, as well as helping the likes of Heitinga and Fellaini reach full fitness. I would be most interested in seeing how Beckford and Billy combine, as I could see Bily's passing ability getting Beckford several goals if he plays off of the last man. I'm also interested in seeing how Rodwell performs i a deeper role, however I would have him playing as deep-lying playmaker, rather than as a defensive midfielder per se, similar to the role Arteta usually plays. We may as well use the match to help our new signings to settle into the squad, and possibly test some new tactics, if Moyes feels a little adventurous.

the main reason why Garbutt is on the left wing is to give Pienaar a rest, as he hasn't yet turned up for us this season and II remember him being pushed up the pitch to accomodate Bidwell previously (or vice versa, I'm not sure) and would like to see how these two players have developed, and whther they have started to develop a relationship on the pitch.

Jagielka is mostly on the pitch to keep a calm head to help keep the younger lads under control and the combination of him and Heitinga ought to be enough to limit Huddersfield to shooting from range. Arteta is on the bench in case of emergency and to act as a cool head also.

This but Vaughan for Beckord, Yak and Anichebe somewhere on the pitch (for Pienaar?)

These threads are kind of pointless - any youngster we have in the team that day will probably be a sub. Don't expect anything shocking imo. Moyes has said and proved it that he'll field the best team he can, regardless of opposition. And we've been doing just that; and we'll probably do it again.

I don't disagree but if Coleman can't get into this kind of match, then he really ought to be wondering why Moyes brought him back from Blackpool.
