Was an outdoor bar near the Pentagon Shopping Centre in Chatham, Kent. Must have been 1984.

I was 16 and buying a pint for my 15yo cousin. The barman asked lager or bitter and I responded with a very blank look.
I had no idea that lager or bitter were beer.

4 pints of Stella then had to go home as I'd ran out of money.
Jeez. When did you start drinking? If you could drink 4 pints of stella at 14 and find your way home.

Lenin's Bar - Mathew Street - 1996 - 15. Definitely the cheapest lager although I can't remember what it was. I'm guessing it was pound a pint. Had a whole packet of chewies before I got home 'cos i'd meant to have been in school.
