First game this season

Today was my first chance to see us live this season. My thoughts in brief:

Bolassie is bonkers. Was our stand out player in a dull first half. What was that flick about at 1-0? Him and Seamus link up
well.

Gana is like a black Peter Reid. Reads the game brilliantly. Great positional sense and breaks up play really well.

Oviedo visibly grew in confidence, hopefully he'll come on for that performance.

Ross kept plugging away, despite being ponderous in the first half.

Rom was Rom. Big battering ram.

Finally, Sheffield is a bit of a schlep to go to Goodison and back in a day. 6 hours in the car, I'm knackered. My lad loved it though so well worth it.

Thanks mate. I would have gone by train but the times didn't work due to it being an early kick off and a Sunday, but it was the only game I could get over for before Christmas
