Hey,

Fancied popping down to England to watch a decent game of football for a change

,So I chose your fine club for this weeks game against Chelsea.
What pubs near the ground would you folks recommend?

Ptfc? Partick Thistle?

The Black Horse on County Road mate. Not as packed as the rest of the pubs near it because of its massive size, it's not as sweaty for that reason and it has about 20 TVs - I think there might be an early game on. There's about 10 pubs nearby but The Black Horse is probably best. All pubs on County Road, which is as you walk away from The Bullens Road Stand, are literally 2/3 minutes walk away from Goodison. Don't be tempted to go in the Winslow over the road from The Bullens Road stand, you'll probably die due to overheating and ingest at least 30 pints of sweat.

Good lord, do not go to the Lisbon. The people who've said that are on a wind up. Normally i'd be laughing too but seeing as you're coming down from Scotty land i feel a bit mean. The Black Horse is a good choice.

think you mean the Main Stand on Goodison Road.

Anyway, if youre coming from the City Centre get a taxi and ask for the Royal Oak by the School of Science; from the there you can walk north up County Road and you'll see a few boozers that will be ok for a pint
