Bruce Wayne

Player Valuation: £100m
Ok, so we've had a reasonable number of games now this season and are beginning to get most people available for selection, just AJ and Vaughan missing.

It seems sensible to start fielding our best eleven as often as possible in order to increase familiarity between them and to develop the partnerships between centre backs, fullback and their winger, strikers, central midfielders etc.

So, on that basis, who would be your first choice eleven? You can pick home and away if you like.

Home

Howard

Neville Yobo Lescott Baines

Arteta Cahill Carsley Pienaar

Yakubu Johnson

Subs: Wessels, Jagielka, Hibbo, Osman, Anichebe.

Away

Howard

Hibbo, Yobo Stubbs Lescott

Carsley--- Jagielka

Arteta-------------------- Osman
Cahill

Anichebe

Subs:Wessels, Neville, Pienaar, Johnson, Yakubu.

I agree 100% we need a settled 'best' 11. You look at the successful teams in the Premiership in recent years- you can pretty much guess who the 11 will be. Manure have epitomised this especially last season.

My best 11- now this is playing to win not necessarily playing the most attractive football:

------------------Howard-----------------
Jagielka----Yobo------Lescott-------Baines
---------------Carsley----------------
Arteta-----Cahill------Gravesen-----Pienaar
-----------------AJ---------------

This would be my personal choice if everyone was fit and ready. I believe the only way we can play Cahill in a 4 man midfield is if we sign a dominating central midfielder to compliment him. That way I would go with AJ and Vaughan up top.

Zero: How the hell do you make it go in the middle like that???

Its ]CENTER[ ]/CENTER[ Switch the brackets the right way around though. or highlight what you want centering then click the center allign button next to Bold Italics and underline.

Home for me would be

howard

neville yobo lescott baines

arteta carsley cahill ossie

aj vaughan

away would be

howard

neville yobo lescott baines

arteta carsley cahill ossie pienaar

vaughan

I see no starting positions for Anichebe or Mcfadden given their recent form?

Also, what about our wizard on the wing Andy Van Der Meyde??

I think at home for me it would be the same as zeros but replace Pienaar with Osman dependant on form.

As for away, thats where I think we need to be creative dependant on the opposition. If their weak then play a varieety of 352/442/433, but if their strong then we must revert to 451 especially now we have cahill back, it may be ugly, but its effective.

No Anichebe then bruce?

I think Vic has tremendous potential because physically he has it all. However I think when we have everyone fit that Vaughan offers many of the same attributes and is more polished than Vic. With so many good strikers at the club he would be a prime candidate to go out on loan for a bit and learn his craft.

I agree with the away. I feel as though Pienaar offers more to the team than Osman though.

I think their both touch and go to be honest, you never know what type of performance your gonna get with either. Last night i though pienaar was poor and osman very good.

I think ossie has been playing well the last couple of games but i thought pienaar was ok last night he did a lot of work off the ball
