I'd give Mirallas a go up front when Rom is out.

I always thought he was a good finisher, pace as well, a bit of snide in him too, he's even got the name all'as

...I agree, he's a good finisher especially for a winger. The only thing about playing him up front is the other aspects of a CFs game, especially back to goal target man. Take Naismith's goal last night, the lay off from the CF was excellent.

But he keeps getting chances and that's the main thing. Eventually he scores.

damn you, beat me to it. One of the best finishers we've had in recent years. people hated him though because the rest of his game was tosh.

Was it really tosh ? Or was we wanting some sort of 85 rated fifa player as back up ?
I thought he was a pain in the rear for the opposition, chipped in with goals, gave 100% and actually a lot better than many make out.
Most people are just furious he wasn't equipped with the vision of Andrea Pirlo.

I hope all those people having a go at Lukaku watched last night. I said in the thread about him my big worry was if he got injured, and last night confirmed it. We desperately need a striker in January.

We really need somebody who is aggressive and dominant in the air.Rom scores headers but not when he'd tightly marked,lots of crosses last night but nobody with the physicality to really attack them.
