Since they brought in FFP it quite obvious to me, this wasn't created to create a fair playing field. You would be stupid to thing that.

The only reason it was brought in was to defend the big clubs who don't want to shafted by smaller clubs in Europe (ie citeh) becoming a big club with vast sums of money.

It's there to keep the status quo.

Real Madrids of this world who are funded by government = fair .

City who are funded by rich people = not fair

Definitely not fair.

Just pulls up the draw bridge.

So even if Bill Gates buys your club he's not allowed to invest with his own money to enable you to compete for the big prizes.

Look at it this way, had it not been for the City or Chelsea takeovers we could be finishing top four on a regular basis. We, and similar sized clubs would be in a far healthier financial position than we currently are.

This.

If "Financial Fair Play" was capable of delivering a level playing field it would never have been brought in.

You've only just realised this? The introduction of the Champions league format, allowing 4th place teams into the Champions league, seeding, fall back of Europa for 3rd place teams and FFP.
It has been going on for years
