It always seem to be us that end in the place that lose's the euro place via the league i think.Still find it so frustrating that the FA Cup draw took away what would have been a relatively comfortable 6th place European spot.
I've got a feeling Spurs might proper balls up.
I believe that qualifying for the Europa League will impede our league form next season, and when we have a team that is going to miss out on the Champions League this season by a very small margin of between 1-4 points, then I don't think playing a bunch of Eastern European farmers is remotely worth it.
It may be a lot of fun, but the fun will cost us points imo.
We won't have a team that is going to miss out on the Champions League this season by a very small margin of between 1-4 points, though. Or at least not all of it.
We aren't going to be far behind the points tally of whoever finishes 4th. I maintain my prediction that the margin will be between 1-4 points. If we hadn't dropped points at Norwich, QPR, Fulham etc etc, then we would have been flying high and on course for top 4 qualification.
One of the main excuses (reasons) for us failing to qualify for competitions like the Champions League is that we lack squad depth. Adding an extra 10 games in a crap, second rate competition isn't going to help us in that regard at all.
I will enjoy the aways like everyone else, but they will cost us points next season, leading to yet another mid-table finish this time next season.
