Final game at Goodison - confirmed Sunday 18 May, 12PM


Finally got my ticket. I got the email last week saying I’d been successful in the ballot, but was still nervous until I’d actually got the ticket!

Far easier than at any time I’ve tried to get a ticket this season. Loads of choice in various stands. I’ve always been an Upper Bullens fella and had a choice of a few in the Upper Bullens today, but last time out I couldn’t get a ticket for the Bullens and had to “settle” for Top Balcony. Best view I’ve ever had! Instantly converted. So back in the Top Balcony for the final game.

Feel very very privileged to be able to attend and very grateful.

People talking about Southampton as if it's the last game of the season . Don't forget we have the small matter of going to Newcastle and probably getting battered . Our team switched off as soon as safety was assured.

Well maybe it’s because nobody cares about going to St James’ Park and in fact they do care about going to Goodison for the last time ever.

Same here, was expecting carnage, but went very smoothly!

Exactly.

Only thing I'd like is for them to keep it open for a bit, let us take our drinks up and put some songs on, let us go on the pitch. Then its time to go the pub.

Some of the "rumours" and suggestions I'm seeing are ridiculous. People want to turn the thing into a full on concert and that's not what the day is about.
 
I’ve never been to this stadium. And I won’t get the chance anymore. Unfortunately, the war is still going on. But here’s what I want to say: this is a legendary stand. No Anfield or Etihad can compare to this historic home. I feel a bit sad. But still, history moves forward. We’ve turned this page for new glory and victories. I hope the Premier League title will come at the new arena too.

Heard Premier league are putting a magic show outside...'And for our next trick we will make 10 of your hard earned points....disappear'

All for this circus charade though....get some of our ex managers back on different stalls - 'Throw a pie at Benitez', 'Watch Big Sam down a pint of gravy', 'Cheer every time Martinez says phenomenal', 'Photo with Denise in a headlock'...we'd make millions.

But we are Everton and we have a tendency to mess things up. None of us would be surprised if we lost the game to once again make us the laughing stock.
