Final game at Goodison - confirmed Sunday 18 May, 12PM

Early kick offs are notoriously awful for atmosphere, everybody is half asleep and hungover, and 12 is far too early for the proposed 'events' before the game that loads of people have been saying are really important. Obviously we're all different but for me the choice between Goodison's last game being under the lights with all that comes with that or at noon in May with the sun blaring right into in the eyes of everyone in the Gwladys and a sleepy crowd not getting going until the last 10 minutes is an absolute no brainer.

Surely a lot of people are hoping to knock round Goodison road for a while before the game?

A 12 kick off just takes that away and makes it impossible to soak the day in and build an atmosphere.

It would take a lot away from the event.

12 Sunday is still better than anytime on the Monday, but it will kill the atmosphere. Hopefully the club sees sense and we get a decent kickoff time to truly appreciate the day & the evening tbf

as it's a Sunday game as well, there's no reason (i can see) why we can't be on telly at 3pm, alongside other games taking place that day. there's no blackout as it's not saturday. And on the last day of the season all games KO same time bu a couple at least will be on TV.

I honestly couldn't care less if less Wolves fans are watching our game because they're watching their game. the club have got their priorities all wrong if they want it moved so the 'footballing world' can watch us.

If sky want to put one of the other fixtures in the more premium slots that is fine, but could we just not then ko at a normal time

what a way to spoil the last match at goodison

I think 12pm kick off on a Sunday is awful. The coverage on TV will be limited as they'll be straight on to the 2pm game. 4pm would have been ideal, allowing people time to arrive and take it all in
4pm game means there would be zero build up on tv as they are showing the 2pm game.

Fact is, unless we are the only game playing, we are going to get people whinging that there is either no build up, or no post match.

And the fact is that Everton don't choose the kick off time, Sky do.

Still no word on this? Utter joke.
That and the fact nobody apart from the fans is calling them out for it pathetic, if was thers or the so called sky 6 would this happen no. Would just bend over and do whatever, is a massive problem in football not just this game but how many games do fans have to travel then cant even get the trains back becuase of poor time travelling half way down the country. Be good see them talking about is but would rather waste time talking about virgil van one leg with his new deal to the everton managet

Last season they announced wk 37 games on the 10th April, and the season finished a week earlier. The Cup semis had also been played.

This isn't unusually late in announcing it.
