Spot on mate, the club need to put some comms out and flog anything and everything possible to us, especially our own seats etc.

As long as they aren’t taking the pee with the prices people will buy stuff, I defo will.

We don’t need to show the world us all ripping stuff out the ground, they hate us enough already, let’s not give them any bullets, and the old lady deserves better than that.
Totally agree.

All monies raised from the sale of seats etc to go to EITC.

Win win and stops the public narrative and perception about the last game at Goodison being about “typical thieving scousers” dismantling the stadium at the final whistle.

Obviously, the club can’t legislate for cretins like the bloke who nicked the food, and bragged about it,at the BMD test event.

Is there anywhere I can order a program for this?
It's a 'special' A4 size programme v Southampton = £10

Saint's will be doomed well before this game.

I wonder if they will sell their full allocation?

Saints fan here, signed up to follow the new stadium progress and just clocked this thread.

Think there's a very good chance we'll sell it all, our away numbers have improved massively up north in past couple of years and we've sold the full allocation for every away this season bar United on a Thursday night where we only took 2.5k.

If it stays on the weekend then we definitely will but might not on the Monday night. Think it'd be a better occasion on the weekend personally so I'm hoping it stays as that. I'm also wondering if you might try talk us into taking the smaller allocation with cheaper tickets or something. City did that for the final game at Maine Road.

I'm really looking forward to it, basically the only reason (well along with Fratton next season) that I've continued to do so many aways during the worst season in our history. Plenty of others thinking the same I bet.

Goodison probably my favourite ground in the country. Will be a shame to see it go but delighted to be part of its final game. New place looks amazing but you'll lose something from moving on imo.

A fair few Southampton fans i know (and not sure why i know as many as I do), are all asking me if they thought there would be interest from Everton fans in buying their tickets.

So, for that reason, I hope it's a Monday night, Sunday Night or whatever.

Great lads, could easily be winding me up too, but I'm sure there will be a fair few Saints fans who share a similar idea.

Like "Jump Sunday" at the Aintree national, used to get taken every year as a little kid.
Was chokka, most of liverpool walking the course. Kopites wouldn't know about that as it was some trek from essex and norway, and at the time they supported Leyton/arsenal/molde/brann/etc....
Remember it well, walking the course and climbing over the fences

Monday night would be the wrong move

If they do that it's purely for TV coverage, not the fans

Some might say one more night game but imo we've had that now with Liverpool, and we loved it. Also the sun will set after 9pm in mid May

So many people, especially kids will have to go home not long after, and will be working/in school, in the day.

A Sunday afternoon at 4.30 or whatever the slot is now for the prime time super sunday game makes the most sense

Give the fans the day to soak it all up beforehand, hopefully in the sunshine, and an evening to properly see the old girl off.

Hopefully the club have some say in this, seeing as they requested for the game to be the penultimate weekend not the last.

For those wondering it can't be Saturday as the FA Cup final is on the Saturday (madness)

I'd be lying if I said it hadn't crossed my mind but only for about a second and I wouldn't seriously consider it. Mainly because I'd rather have the experience than the cash but also because I think it's a bit scummy to make huge mark ups on football tickets.

Everyone I've spoken to is just buzzing to go and has been since the fixtures were released but I'm sure on the day there'll be a few who won't be able to turn down the silly money on offer.

I'm hoping that with the title and relegation looking like being sorted well before then that it'll get the Sunday 16:30 slot. Would be much better than an early KO or Friday/Monday night. Only advantage to the Monday would be cheaper hotels!
