Penalty in the 111th minute. Everton, already 7-0 up, bring on Joe Royle to take it. As always, he smacks it into the roof of the net to make it 8-0. The ghost of Alan Ball floats in to celebrate with Royle. After all, they've been here before. The ecstatic crowd bounce out of Goodison singing 'we shall not be moved, and get bladderd in the Wilmslow.

All of a sudden these 'lasts' are getting close and very real

Will we be attacking the street end or park end in the last half?
Will people just stay at the end? Will everyone go on the pitch?
I just can't my head round how it'll all feel tbh
Back in the 70's (???) goodison pitch was being completely re-laid in the summer and my brother in law took a shovel to the game, ran on at the end and got a shovel full of the hallowed turf.

An already relegated Southampton concede a pre planned penalty in the 94th minute.

Everton sub Speedo Mick comes on & smashes it into the Gwladys street net.

Ref blows full time.

Party begins.
